Product Description

• Wood correctly preserved with creosote is protected against wood destroying insects and wood rotting fungi.
• Contains: creosote and creosote constituents including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), Benz(A)pyrene and phenolic compounds.
• Wear gloves when handling treated wood.
• Do not burn preserved wood.
• Wear a dust mask and goggles when cutting or sanding wood. Preservative may migrate from the treated wood into soil/water.
• Wash exposed skin thoroughly.
• Dispose of waste responsibly.
• Wash work clothes separately from other clothing before re-use.
• Do not use where preserved wood may contact drinking water.
• Do not use for mulch.
• Only use treated wood that is not exuding creosote (bleeding).
• Do not use for interior applications.
• Recommendations: Preserved wood must be disposed of as controlled waste accordance with National and Regional regulations.
• Post-treatment operations such as cutting, drilling etc. will render the treatment ineffective in those areas of the timber. • In the event of a claim the end tag, a sample of the failed product and proof of purchase must be supplied.

Click & Collect

A free of charge Click & Collect service is readily available in all of our stores. This means you now have the option of placing an order online to pick up at your chosen store. When you have selected the item(s) you wish to Click & Collect, add them to your basket and follow the instructions to proceed to the checkout. On the delivery options page you can then select which of our stores you wish to collect your order from. We aim for your order to be ready to collect for your chosen collection date/time, if stock is available at your chosen store. You will receive an email when your order is ready to be collected and you will have 7 days to collect your order once it is ready. Payment for Click & Collect orders will be taken at the tills in your local store upon collection. Mole Avon account holders will be able to receive their discount and book the order to their account if required. Delivery

Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £6.49. Next Day delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £7.49 We currently use DPD for our deliveries. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. In order to receive a refund or exchange you must: Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned. Return the item(s) within 28 days of being purchased. Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging unless faulty.

Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £350 or over), deliveries under £350 will be charged at a standard rate of £35. Deliveries are kerbside only and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person or outside of our local delivery area will incur additional fees.
